How can I connect VERITAS Isabelle to the WLAN?

The following steps are required to connect the VERITAS Isabelle to the WLAN:

  • Activate WLAN: First, the WLAN must be activated on the machine. This is done via the machine's menu. In the top left-hand corner of the screen, there is an icon with three stripes that leads to the menu. Select “Settings” and then the Wi-Fi symbol (usually in the top right-hand corner). Here you can see whether the WLAN is active.
Search for available networks: In the machine's WLAN menu, the “Search for Internet” option must be selected. The machine will then search for available Wi-Fi networks. A list of the networks found will be displayed.
  • Select network and enter password: The desired network is selected from the list. The corresponding WLAN password must then be entered. It is important that the password is at least eight characters long and a maximum of 64 characters. The name of the router must not contain any special characters or umlauts.
Establish connection: After entering the password, the connection to the machine is established. This may take a short moment. When the connection has been successfully established, this is indicated by two interlocking chain links or circles. The Wi-Fi icon in the top right corner of the screen also indicates that the machine is connected to the Wi-Fi.
  • Additional notes:
  • Router requirements: The router should only consist of letters and numbers. As soon as there are special characters in the name of the router, the connection will not work. The password may contain special characters.
  • Confirmation of the connection: After a successful connection, the WLAN symbol is also displayed in the machine's normal sewing mode.
  • Connection problems: If the WLAN symbol contains an exclamation mark or is not displayed, the machine is not connected to the Internet.

Why do you need a satin stitch foot?

This notch allows the foot to glide easily over the thickness of the stitch shape created by closely spaced zigzag stitches and to feed the fabric evenly.

What is a roller base needed for?

The roller foot is a special presser foot that has been developed for sewing difficult materials. It differs from other presser feet due to its roller(s) on the underside, which transport the material better when sewing. The roller foot prevents the material from sticking to the foot or shifting. It not only feeds smooth materials very well, but also soft materials such as Thermolam.

What is a blind stitch foot used for?

The blind stitch foot is a special presser foot that has been developed for sewing invisible hems. It is used to sew hems so that the seam on the right side of the fabric is barely visible or not visible at all.
