These instructions contain pictures, text and instruct the machine to select the appropriate stitch patterns. Maintenance
The sewing machine must be disconnected from the power supply for maintenance and cleaning. The throat plate can be removed and the feed dog and bobbin case cleaned with a brush. The hook should be regularly cleaned of lint and thread remnants and lubricated with sewing machine oil (not included! Do not use regular cooking oil!). It is important to maintain the machine regularly to ensure a long service life.
The LCD display and the surface of the machine should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, a damp cloth with a little neutral detergent can be used.
Accessories
The standard scope of delivery of the VERITAS Carmen includes:
All-purpose foot, zipper foot, buttonhole foot, overlock foot, blind hem foot, caterpillar seam foot, button presser foot, cleaning brush, seam ripper, bobbin holder, quilt guide, 3 bobbins, screwdriver (small and large), felt pad for thread spools, second thread spool pin, touch screen pin, 5 quality needles, micro USB adapter cable for software
A caterpillar foot is used for caterpillar seams (satin stitches) and decorative stitches. This presser foot has a recess on the underside that allows it to glide easily over thick stitch formations.
